Learned Senior Advocate-Mr. R.K. Mathur appearing for the

contesting respondent No.1 submitted that as per observations

made by the court below in the order dated 06.10.2017, the

respondent has already paid the stamp duty on the document

which was alleged to be not properly stamped.

Learned Senior Advocate further places reliance on a

judgment in the case of Nand Singh & Ors. Vs. Mangal Singh &

Ors., reported in 2013 (2) DNJ (Raj.) 766.

Learned Senior Advocate on the strength of the said

judgment submitted that the patta which is issued by the Gram

Panchayat is by way of grant of an immovable property by a

Government Authority and as such no registration is required

under Section 17(2)(vii) of the Registration Act, 1908.

Learned counsel for the petitioner wants to study the matter

and make his submissions accordingly.

List this case on 20.05.2022.

Till then, interim order if any, to continue.
