Judgment / Order
01/07/2022
This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner
with a grievance that the respondent-authorities have not
taken any decision on his representation pursuant to the
order dated 18.11.2021 passed by this Court in DBCWP
No.14531/2021.
Learned counsel for the respondents has filed reply to
the contempt petition wherein, it is mentioned that the
representation filed by the petitioner with respect to location
(2 of 2) [WCP-251/2022]
of a particular liquor shop has already been considered and
rejected by the District Excise Officer, Jodhpur on 13.1.2022.
In view of the fact that the representation of the
petitioner has already been decided by the respondent-
authorities, we do not find any merit in this writ contempt
petition.
Hence, this writ contempt petition is dismissed.
Notices are discharged.
However, the petitioner is free to avail appropriate
remedy available to him under the law, if any, against
rejection of his representation.
