This Court on 05.01.2022, had observed that the controversy

involved in the writ petitions being of important nature was to be

decided after hearing learned counsel for the parties through

physical hearing when the same was permissible, as per the SOP

issued by this Court.

This Court also observed that the learned counsel for the

petitioners-Mr. S.S. Hora would be free to make his submissions

on the stay application if the matter is not taken up for final

hearing.

Learned counsel for the petitioners-Mr. S.S. Hora submits

that his request for declaring result of the petitioners may be

considered by this Court.

This Court asked learned counsel for the petitioners-Mr. S.S.

Hora to prepare the matter in view of the latest judgment of the

Apex Court delivered in Abdul Ahad & Ors. Versus Union of

India & Ors, AIR 2021 SC 4719.

This Court finds that the controversy needs to be resolved in

view of the law laid down by the Apex Court.

This Court accordingly places these matters for final hearing

on 07.02.2022.
