Order

08/12/2022

No one appears for the petitioner.

Mr. M.S.Singhvi, learned Advocate General appearing for the

respondents informs that the controversy regarding the validity of

Rule 19 of the Rajasthan Animal Husbandry Subordinate Service

(Amendment) Rules, 2013 (for short 'the Rules') has been upheld

by the Division Bench of this Court.

A perusal of the writ petition reveals that the petitioner is

challenging the validity of Rule 19 of the Rules. The validity of the

said rule has been upheld by the Division Bench of this Court vide

judgment and order dated 23.5.2014 while deciding a batch of

(2 of 2) [CW-4729/2022]

writ petitions in which D.B. Civil Writ Petition No.14947/2013

[Dinesh Kumar Sharma and ors. V/s State of Rajasthan &

ors.] was the lead case and the petitions were dismissed

upholding the validity of Rule 19 of the Rules.

In view of the above decision, we are not inclined to take a

different view in the matter. Since the controversy stands covered

by the above Division Bench decision, the writ petition is

dismissed.
