Order

31/08/2022

Matter comes up on misc. application filed by the

respondent-University for seeking correction in the order dated

17.05.2022 passed by this Court.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that this Court

inadvertently has used the words 'bonus marks' in the judgment

dated 17.05.2022 at certain places instead of the words 'average

marks'.

Learned counsel submitted that the applicant-University has

not awarded any bonus marks to any candidate and only average

(2 of 2) [WMAP-189/2022]

marks were awarded. Learned counsel submitted that inadvertent

error which has come in the order may be rectified.

Learned counsel Mr.Akhil Simlote who was appearing for the

writ petitioner, was supplied copy of the misc. application and he

has no objection, if necessary correction is made in the order.

This Court accordingly allows the misc. application and

directs that wherever the words 'bonus marks' are appearing in

the judgment dated 17.05.2022, the same may be read as

'average marks'.

This order may be treated as part and parcel of the original

order dated 17.05.2022.
