Learned counsel for the petitioner and complainant
submitted that the present matter can be disposed of by this
Court in view of compromise, which has been arrived at between
the parties, for the purpose of quashing the proceedings which
have been initiated against the petitioners under Section 323, 324
& 307 of IPC.
Learned counsel for the petitioner places reliance on a
judgment passed by the Apex Court in the case of Narinder
Singh & Ors. Vs. State of Punjab & Anr. Criminal Appeal
No.686/2014, decided by common order dated 27.03.2014.
This Court asked learned counsel for the petitioner to
come prepared about the scope of Section 482 of Cr.PC to
compound the offences in view of latest judgment passed by the
Apex Court in the case of Ramgopal & Ors. Vs. The State of
(2 of 2) [CRLMP-68/2019]
Madhya Pradesh, Criminal Appeal Nos.1488 & 1489/2012
decided on 29.09.2021.
This Court finds that since parties have come to the
Court today, their presence may be marked, however, the present
case can be decided on the next date.
List this case on 08.11.2021.
