                         Judgment / Order

15/07/2021

The present misc. application has been filed by the petitioner

for seeking extension of interim bail granted by this Court vide

order dated 01.06.2021, whereby the petitioner was released on

interim bail for a period of 45 days.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that after release on

interim bail, the petitioner was admitted in Jewan Raksha Hospital,

Bikaner on 24.06.2021 where he was operated and his right

kidney was removed and thereafter the petitioner was discharged

from hospital on 29.06.2021 and he was advised for complete bed

rest. Counsel submits that the petitioner was also tested positive

of Hepatitis C virus and he is also suffering from other

complications, therefore he is still under observation. In these

circumstances, it is prayed that the interim bail granted by this

Court may be further extended for a period of three months.

(2 of 2) [CRLMA-186/2021]

Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the prayer made by

the petitioner for extension of interim bail.

Having considered the fact that the petitioner's right kidney

was removed in operation and he is still under observation and he

has been advised to complete bed rest, therefore this Court

deems it appropriate to further extend the period of interim bail.

Hence, the present misc. application is allowed. The interim

bail granted to the petitioner is hereby further extended by a

period of three months from today.
