This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a

direction to the respondents to allot the GPF Number to the

petitioner.

It is, inter alia, indicated in the writ petition that pursuant to

the judgment of this Court dated 27.01.2017 passed in SBCW No.

4297/2003, against which Special Appeal as well as Special Leave

Petition were dismissed by the Division Bench and Hon'ble

(2 of 2) [CW-13044/2020]

Supreme Court respectively, though the petitioner has been

accorded all the benefits, despite petitioner submitting Option

Form (Annex.-6), the GPF Number has not been allotted to the

petitioner.

It is submitted that the respondents be directed to allot the

GPF Number expeditiously.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the

petitioner, the writ petition filed by the petitioner is disposed of

with the direction to the respondents to look into the grievance

raised by the petitioner pertaining to non-allotment of GPF

Number and do the needful within a period of four weeks from the

date a fresh detailed representation is made by the petitioner.
