For Appellant : Mr. Mahendra Sharma Advocate.

HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE SABINA HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANOJ KUMAR VYAS

Judgment

20/01/2021

Appellant has filed the appeal challenging order dated

13.08.2019 passed by the learned Single Judge, whereby, writ

petition filed by the appellant was dismissed.

Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that

Respondent No. 4 was junior to the appellant, yet he had been

wrongly shown as senior to the appellant.

(2 of 2) [SAW-1565/2019]

In the present case, seniority list of the appellant vis à

vis Respondent No. 4 was published way back in the year 1987

and appellant was shown at Serial No. 3, whereas, Respondent

No. 4 was shown at Serial No. 1. Thus, so far as Respondent No.

4 is concerned, he was treated as senior to the appellant from the

date of induction in service.

In these circumstances, learned Single Judge rightly

held that the grievance raised by the appellant at such a belated

stage could not be entertained.

No ground for interference is made out.

Dismissed.

                                    (MANOJ KUMAR VYAS),J (SABINA),J
