This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for seeking

relief that the respondents may be directed to include his name in

the electoral rolls of Gram Panchayat, Kudi Bhagtasni Panchayat

Samiti, Luni and he may also be allowed to file his nomination

papers for contesting election for the post of Sarpanch of Gram

Panchayat Kudi Bhagtasni held in the year 2020.

After going through the averments made in this writ petition,

this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner is having an

alternate remedy of moving appropriate application before the

(2 of 2) [CW-9911/2020]

concerned authority under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Election

Rules, 1994 for inclusion of his name in the electoral roll of any

Gram Panchayat. Otherwise, also the elections for the post of

Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Kudi Bhagtasni have already been

completed in the year 2020, therefore, no case for interference is

made out.

Hence, this writ petition is dismissed.

Stay petition also stands dismissed.
