For Appellant(s) : Mr. Rakesh Kumar Saini, Advocate

HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE SABINA HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE CHANDRA KUMAR SONGARA

Judgment / Order

02/08/2021

Appellant has filed the appeal challenging the order dated

22.02.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge, whereby, writ

petition filed by the appellant, was dismissed.

We have heard learned counsel for the appellant and have

gone through the record available on the file carefully.

Appellant had applied for the post of Sanskrit Lecturer in

pursuance to the advertisement dated 29.03.2018. As per

(2 of 2) [SAW-251/2021]

corrigendum dated 06.04.2018, appellant was required to have

following qualifications:-

"Shastri or equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with

Sanskrit medium and Second Class Acharya degree or equivalent

Sanskrit medium examination in the concerned subject having

minimum 48% marks with Shiksha Shastri degree or equivalent."

Admittedly, appellant has not qualified his graduation degree

in Sanskrit medium.

In these circumstances, learned Single Judge rightly

dismissed the writ petition filed by the appellant as he was not

having the requisite qualification for the post of Sanskrit Lecturer

in literature.

No ground for interference is made out.

Dismissed.
