1. The present petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of

certiorari for quashing of the letter dated 21.02.2024 (Annexure P-2), whereby the passport application of the petitioner bearing No.CH4067150885422 has been closed by respondent No.2.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the passport has been

issued to the petitioner.
