1. By this common order, three writ petitions, the details of which

have been given in the heading, are being disposed of as all these petitions

involve the same question of law on similar facts.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submits that the question

of law raised in the present writ petitions has already been answered by this

Court while passing order in CWP No.24322 of 2016 titled as Amarjit

Singh vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on 23.5.2022, which

judgment has already been upheld by the Division Bench in Letter Patent

Appeal hence, the present writ petitions be also disposed of in terms of the

said judgment.

3. Learned State counsel has not been able to rebut the fact that

the judgment in Amarjit Singh's case (supra) is on the same question of

law and has already been upheld by the Division Bench in the LPA.

4. Keeping in view the above, the present writ petitions are also

disposed of in terms of the order passed in Amarjit Singh's case (supra).

5. A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of other

connected cases.
