Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the issue arising in the instant petition is similar to the one adjudicated by this Court, vide order dated 08.11.2023, passed in CWP No.10969 of 1994, and the instant petition may be disposed of in terms thereof.

2. In view thereof, the petition is allowed and the seniority list dated 31.05.1994, as also the notice of reversion dated 27.07.1994, are set aside. The respondents are directed to reframe the seniority list and restore petitioners' services as JBT teacher by treating the date of their selection, i.e., 26.12.1978, as the date of appointment, and release all consequential benefits. The direction is to be carried out within a period of six weeks of

receiving a certified copy of the order.
