Learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits

that the question of law raised in the present petition was also raised in CWP

No.16073 of 2016 (Annexure P-22) titled as "Kuljit Paul Singh Mahi and ors. Vs.

State of Punjab and ors." vide judgment dated 13.07.2018 has already decided the

said writ petition against the interest of the petitioners i.e. rejecting the claim as

being raised in the present petition. Learned Senior counsel submits that the said

judgment of the Co-ordinate Bench is pending consideration in LPA No.1447 of

2018.

Learned State counsel submits that once the issue raised in the present

petition has already been decided in CWP No.16073 of 2016 (Annexure P-22)

titled as "Kuljit Paul Singh Mahi and ors. Vs. State of Punjab and ors."vide

judgment dated 13.07.2018, the present writ petition should also be dismissed.

Keeping in view of the abovementioned facts, as the parties are agree

that the question of law raised in the present petition is covered by the judgment of

the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in "Kuljit Paul Singh Mahi and ors. Vs. State

of Punjab and ors.", the present petition is also dismissed in terms of the

judgment in Kuljit Paul Singh Mahi's case (supra).
