1. The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the

Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for

directing respondent No.3-Assistant Collector, 1st Grade, Khadoor Sahib,

District Tarn Taran to decide the application of the petitioner for setting

aside the ex parte proceedings against him, which is stated to be pending

before the said Authority.

2. On 01.08.2024, learned State counsel sought time to get

instructions as regards this matter. Today, learned State counsel on

authenticity of this document/judgment

instructions from respondent No.3-Assistant Collector, 1st Grade, Khadoor

Sahib, District Tarn Taran, submits that the concerned Officer shall decide

the application for setting aside the ex parte proceedings in the partition case

within a period of three weeks from today.

3. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned

counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not press the instant petition

any further.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the respective

counsel, the petition is disposed of, accordingly.

5. All pending application(s), if any, shall also stand closed.
