1. Prayer made in the present case was for quashing Seniority No.

12 granted to the private respondent in the list of Clerks as it stood on

01.01.1998 and the promotion order dated 04.06.1999, Annexure P-8, as also

12.10.2000, Annexure P-9. As is recorded in the order dated 25.09.2006 that

the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as respondent No.3 have jointly

stated that CWP No.10484 of 2000 involving similar issue is pending

consideration, the present petition was admitted to be heard alongwith it and

that petition stands dismissed vide judgment dated 24.05.2022 passed by a

co-ordinate Bench of this Court primarily on the ground that the petitioner

cannot be allowed to challenge the order at a belated stage after a lapse of

more than 7 years.

2. Similar being the position in the present case, hence the same is

dismissed.
