This petition has been filed for directing respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner, who apprehends threat from respondents No.3 to 8, who are her husband and in-laws.

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from SI Daljit Singh, submits that representation dated 09.03.2023 (Annexure P-1) has been received in the concerned police station only yesterday. It is being enquired into. Appropriate action in the matter as may be required, will be taken soon.

In view thereof, there is no need to issue direction sought at this

stage, and the petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
