Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C
seeking quashing of FIR No.146 dated 07.10.2014 registered under Sections
498-A, 406 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Majitha, District
Amritsar Rural (Annexure P-1) alongwith all subsequent proceedings
arising therefrom.
Upon instructions from ASI Kulwant Singh, State counsel
submits that all the four accused-petitioners have been acquitted, vide
judgment dated 11.09.2019 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class,
Amritsar, photocopy of which has been placed on record. According to
State counsel, instant petition has become infructuous.
Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
