counsel appearing on behalf of the Accountant General, Bihar,
Mr. Arun Kumar Arun, learned counsel appearing on behalf of
the Accountant General, Jharkhand, Mr. Sarvadeo Singh,
learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State of Jharkhand,
and Mr. Arvind Ujjwal, learned SC-4 appearing on behalf of the
State of Bihar.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of State of
Jharkhand has informed this Court that steps have already been
taken by the District Provident Fund Officer, Bhojpur at Ara,
who has communicated with respect to status of contribution
made by the petitioner to the District Provident Fund, Bhojpur,
Ara.
3. Mr. Maruth Nath Roy, learned counsel
appearing on behalf of the State of Bihar has informed that he
received instruction from the District Provident Fund Officer,
Bhojpur, Ara that he will redress the grievances of the petitioner
with regard to non-payment of provident fund to him, within 1
week from the date of communication of this order.
4. Having considered the submissions made by the
learned counsel appearing on behalf of State of Jharkhand, as
well as, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State of
Bihar, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a
Patna High Court CWJC No.4599 of 2023 dt.10-10-2023
direction to the District Provident Fund Officer, Bhojpur, Ara
that he should not make any delay in making payment of the
Provident Fund to the petitioner which he is entitled for, within
the aforesaid period, along with the statutory interest.
