Order No.                          14.03.2026

   5.       1.    This matter is placed in the 1st National Lok Adalat and is

taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).

2. Learned counsel for the appellant as well as learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 and Officers of Insurance Company are present.

3. As agreed by the parties that a further consolidated amount of Rs.12,000/- (twelve thousand only) over and above the awarded amount shall be paid by the Insurance Company to the claimant- appellant. The compromise sheet signed by both the parties/their authorized representatives is taken on record.

4. It is further directed that the respondent no.2-Insurance Company shall deposit the agreed consolidated amount of Rs.12,000/- (twelve thousand only) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order before the learned 1st M.A.C.T., Kendrapara in M.A.C. Case No.90 of 2018 and on depositing the same, the learned Tribunal shall disburse the entire amount to the claimant-appellant.

5. As the settlement is arrived at before the Lok Adalat, no Court fee shall be levied from the claimant.

6. Accordingly, the MACA is disposed of.

7. Free copies of this order be handed over to the learned counsel for both sides.
