01. The subject matter of this petition, it is admitted at the Bar, is substantially similar to one in W.P.(C) No.2062 of 2024 between Lokanath Behera v. State of Odisha and others disposed of by this Court on 13.08.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his client has made representation dated 09.01.2025 at Annexure-8 claiming the same benefit which has been accorded by this Court in Lokanath Behera supra and though the said application was made much before rendering the said judgment, the same has not been considered till date and therefore, this Court should come to the aid of his client.

Learned AGA, on request, accepting notice for the OPs, very fairly submits that he would instruct his client to look into the subject representation in a time bound way and in accordance with law if all

contentions are kept open. With this proposal, counsel for the petitioner is agreeable.

In the above circumstances, writ petition is disposed of directing OP No.1 to take a call on the subject representation and inform result of such consideration to the petitioner within a time limit of eight (8) weeks in the light of Lokanath Behera supra. All contentions of the parties are kept open.

It is open to the answering OP to solicit any information or document from side of the petitioner, as are required for due consideration of the subject representation: however, subject to the rider that in that guise the delay shall not be brooked.

Now, no costs.
