1. These matters are taken up through hybrid mode.
2. As directed, the learned District Judge, Jagatsinghpur has submitted a report, inter alia, stating that the record in question, which was consigned to the record room, was received from the District Record Room, Cuttack for onward transmission to this Court for reference in the present case. At this stage, it was ascertained that some documents, such as, plaint, written statement, judgment and all exhibited documents from the side of the plaintiff were missing. As such, learned District Judge, Jagatsinghpur requested learned District judge Cuttack to conduct an enquiry.
3. Learned District Judge, Cuttack called for an explanation from the Record Keeper, District Record Room, which reveals that the documents in question were misplaced while shifting of case
records to the District Court Digitization Center at Cuttack. It is further stated that the missing documents have not been located and that search is in progress.
4. Considering the above fact, both learned District Judges of Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack are directed to impress upon the concerned staff to make a thorough search and submit further report to this Court.
5. List these matters on 08.12.2025.
