01. I.A. No.2022 of 2025

1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode.

2. This is an application for condonation of delay of 23 days.

3. Heard learned counsel for the Appellant as well as learned counsel for the State.

4. Learned counsel for the Appellant at the outset contended that the Appellant is in custody since the date of judgment on 23.04.2025. He further contended that although the judgment of conviction was delivered, but due to his custody he could not arrange a lawyer for preparation of appeal memo. In view of the aforesaid position, learned counsel for the Appellant contended that there was a difficult on the part of the Appellant to arrange a lawyer to preparation of the appeal memo.

5. Having heard the learned counsels appearing for both sides, on a careful consideration of the submission made by the learned counsels from both sides, further taking into consideration the fact that the Appellant was languishing in custody, the delay of 23 days as pointed out by the stamp reporter is condoned.

6. Accordingly, the I.A. stands disposed of.

7. List this matter for admission in the next week.
