1. The case diary in Talcher P.S. Case No. 641 of 2024 is produced in
Court.
2. Mr. Digbijay Biswal, Inspector In-Charge of Talcher Police Station is
appears on virtual mode and submits that the bank accounts of the opposite
parties no.5 and 6 have been frozen.
3. When asked if order dated 08.05.2025 directing for freezing the bank
accounts has been complied with, Ms. Sarita Moharana, learned Additional
Standing Counsel for the State points out from the case diary that on
17.08.2024, the Federal Bank Account No. 193001000047573 and HDFC
Bank Account No. 50100330958999 of accused Akhila Prasad Mishra and
Account No. 50100398329312 of Tapaswini Mohapatra has been frozen on
17.08.2024. She further points out that Account No. 20229300267 of Akhila
Prasad Mishra of SBI, Dhenkanal Bazar Branch and Account No.
37844114448 of Akhila Prasad Mishra of SBI, Bairi Branch has been frozen
on 31.08.2024 pursuant to requisition of the S.I. of Talcher Police Station.
4. Ms. Moharana, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that the
demat accounts of the accused persons have not been frozen as per instruction
received from the I.I.C., Talcher Police Station.
5. It appears that the order of this Court passed on 08.05.2025 to freeze
the demat accounts has not been complied with. Action as deemed fit be
taken against the I.I.C., Talcher Police Station by the Superintendent of
Police, Angul for non-compliance of this Court's order.
6. Personal appearance of the I.I.C., Talcher Police Station is dispensed
with.
7. List this case on 18.06.2025 for delivery of judgment.
