Order No. 05.05.2025 03. This matter is taken up through Hybrid
arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).
Learned counsel for the State has produced the written instruction received from the D.S.P. In-charge, Digapahandi Police Station with the letter of the Superintendent of Police, Berhampur.The Public Prosecutor, Ganjam, Berhampur has opined that there are sufficient grounds to prefer an appeal against the acquittal judgment passed by the trial court and the S.P., Berhampur also agreed with the opinion of the Public Prosecutor, Ganjam, Berhampur and requested that necessary steps be taken to prefer an appeal against the acquittal judgment. The written instructions
are taken on record.
The learned counsel for the State shall apprise this Court about the progress made for filing the appeal against the acquittal judgment.
Put up this matter in the week commencing from 14th July, 2025.
