09. 1. Mrs. Patnaik, learned advocate appears on behalf of appellant,
who was wife in the marriage dissolved by judgment dated 18th July,
2019 of the Family Court. She submits, there was no direction made
for maintenance or permanent alimony in respect of her client though,
there was direction regarding the daughter. She submits, she is ready
to proceed with hearing of the appeal.
2. Respondent entered appearance and name of learned
advocates engaged stands reflected. We grant adjournment as one last
opportunity for respondent to defend impugned judgment, in the
appeal. We make it clear, on adjourned date or thereafter hearing of
the appeal will be proceeded with irrespective of respondent being
represented.
3. The lower Court record be called for. Mrs. Patnaik is
requested to communicate website copy of this order to learned
advocate for respondent.
