03. 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the parties conjointly submits that they would explore the possibility of settlement in the present matter. However, Mr. S.K. Sarangi, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the opposite party submits that the learned trial court finally heard the matter and judgment has been kept in the sealed cover awaiting

the outcome of the present proceedings.

3. Since the parties are willing to avail one opportunity for settling the matter amicably, the present petitions are disposed of directing the learned trial court to mediate between both the parties and explore possibility of a settlement. If for any reason, the settlement is not possible, then on that day, the learned trial court shall pronounce the judgment.

4. The learned trial court shall list the matter on 09th of January, 2026 for exploring the possibility of settlement and pronouncement of the judgment thereafter.

5. Both the parties shall appear before the learned trial court on 09th of January, 2026 and in the event the petitioner-accused failed to appear before the trial court on the date fixed, the learned trial court shall pronounce the judgment on the very same day.

6. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
