JUSTICE SASHIKANTA MISHRA ORDER_ 15.12.2025 Order No. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Mr. S.S. Routray, learned Additional Standing Counsel requests for four weeks' time on the ground that decision is likely to be taken by the Government to prefer appeal against the judgment passed by this Court as also to move for stay operation of the judgment.
3. This Court is unable to accept such contentions for the reason that the judgment was passed on 25.04.2025 and the period prescribed for filing an appeal before the Division Bench has expired long since and yet the Government is not clear as regards its future course of action.
4. List this matter on 12.01.2026.
5. The Commissioner-cum-Secretary, School and Mass Education Department shall appear in person before this Court and
file full compliance affidavit.
6. It is made clear that if the order is complied with he need not appear.
