05. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode in the 4th National Lok Adalat, 2025.

2. Learned Counsel for the parties file the Joint Compromise Petition indicating therein that parties have arrived at a compromise without any coercion and undue influence and settled the dispute/claim at Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees eight lakhs) towards further consolidated compensation over and above the awarded amount in M.A.C. No.145 of 2013. The Joint Compromise Petition is taken on record.

3. Since parties are absent, on being asked, learned Counsel for the parties submit, they have executed the Joint Compromise Petition after taking consent from their respective clients.

4. The impugned Award is modified accordingly. As agreed between the parties, the amount, as indicated above, shall be deposited by the Insurance Company before the Tribunal in shape of cheque within eight weeks hence.

5. On deposit of the said amount, the Tribunal shall resettle the amount in favour of Appellants (Claimants before the Court below in M.A.C. No.145 of 2013) in terms of the ratio fixed vide the impugned judgment.

6. Accordingly, the MACA stands disposed of.

7. It is made clear that, since the Appeal is disposed of in Lok Adalat, no Court Fee shall be payable by the Claimants.

8. Free copy of this order be provided to the learned counsel for parties.
