   02.      1.      This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Pursuant to the judgment dated 2nd April, 2024 passed by learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Nuapada in LAR No. 32 of 2019, the Petitioner has filed an application under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for brevity "the Act") for redetermination of compensation. The said application is still pending with the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar.

3. Mr. Das, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that no action has yet been taken on such application. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

4. Mr. Dash, learned Additional Standing Counsel prays for an adjournment to take instruction in the matter.

5. Put up this matter on 21st January, 2026.

6. Instruction, if any, shall be obtained by that date positively.
