06. This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).

Perused the status report furnished by the learned trial Court dated 18.04.2023 from which it appears that out of forty eight charge sheet witnesses, two witnesses have been examined.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed the deposition copies of P.W.1 and P.W.2, which are taken on record. Copies of the same has been supplied to the learned counsel for the State, who on verification of the case record submitted that there are as many as thirty six criminal antecedents against the petitioner and further submitted that number of material witnesses as per the // 2 //

charge sheet are yet to be examined.

Let the learned counsel for the petitioner obtain instruction in respect of each such antecedent and file a comprehensive affidavit relating to the status of those cases, if in any case, the petitioner has been granted bail, the certified copy of the bail order shall be annexed to the comprehensive affidavit and if any case, the petitioner has been acquitted or convicted, the certified copy of the judgment shall also be annexed to the comprehensive affidavit.

Copy of the comprehensive affidavit be served on the learned counsel for the State in advance.

The learned Public Prosecutor shall verify the case records in the trial Court and give a list of material witnesses yet to be examined and the learned trial Court shall take steps to summon those witnesses at the first instance and examine them.

List this matter after the ensuing Summer Vacation. Copy of the order be communicated by the learned Registrar (Judicial) to the learned trial Court.
