Order No. 21.06.2023
I.A. No.894 of 2023
02. This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).
It appears from the impugned judgment that the petitioner faced trial along with co-accused Purusati Attaka and Rama Attaka in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Rayagada in C.T. Case No.33(A) of 2019 and all the three were found guilty under section 304(I)/149 of the Indian Penal Code, section 147/149 of the Indian Penal Code and section 201/149 of the Indian Penal Code.
When a query was made to the learned counsel for // 2 //
the appellant as to whether the other co-accused persons, namely, Purusati Attaka and Rama Attaka have preferred any appeal before this Court and whether they have been released on bail or not, learned counsel for the petitioner could not state the correct state of affairs.
Let the Registry place a note in that respect. Learned counsel for the petitioner files some bail order copies of the co-accused persons, which are taken on record.
List this matter in the week commencing from 03.07.2023.
