2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to take necessary steps for fixation of scale of pay as per ORSP Rules, 1998 within a stipulated time, and the trained graduate scale of pay allowed in his favour under Annexure-3 be declared as legal and valid.
3. Mr. S. Sahoo, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the case of the petitioner is covered by the judgment of this Court in the case of Gouranga Satpathy v. State of Orissa and others, 1992 (I) OLR 136 and, therefore, this writ petition may be disposed of in the light of the said judgment.
4. In view of the above submission, this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the judgment of this Court in the case of Gouranga Satpathy, mentioned supra. The opposite parties are directed to examine the case of the petitioner in the light of aforesaid judgment and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to the benefit, the same shall be extended in his favour within a period of three months from
the date of production of a certified copy of this order. If at all the petitioner is not entitled to the benefit, reasons for non- extension of the same be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.
