2. Heard Mr. G.P. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. A.K. Parija, learned Advocate General for the State- Opposite Parties 1 to 4 and Mr. P.K. Parhi, learned Assistant Solicitor General for Opposite Parties 6 to 8 and 10.

3. This writ petition was filed way back in the year 2007 seeking a specific direction to the Opposite Parties to take appropriate steps to protect the monuments in Sishupalagada area without allowing any unauthorized constructions or encroachments.

4. Although several affidavits have been filed in the petition and there have been some Interveners as well, the present status is not clearly emerging. I.A. No. 17498 of 2019 was filed by the Petitioner on 13th December, 2019 for a direction to Opposite Parties 1 to 6 'to take speedy steps within a stipulated time to complete the boundary wall in protecting the specified land Ac.0.775 acres out of the total notified area of Acs. 562.681 acres to preserve the monuments and also cleaning mud out of Gandhabati stream'.

5. Mr. A.K. Parija, learned Advocate General states that he will file a response to I.A. No. 17498 of 2019 and also prepare and file a report before this Court on the present status of the aforementioned monuments, the preservation of which has been sought by the Petitioner.

6. In view of the above, the affidavit along with report be filed on or before 8th March, 2021. Photographs of the site and even the photographs of the steps taken for protection of the monuments may also be enclosed in the report.

7. List on 16th March, 2021.

8. As the restrictions due to the COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a soft copy of this order/judgment available in the High Court's website or print out thereof at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed, vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020.
