19.08.2021 Order No.

4. 1. Even though the present appeal arises out of the judgment & award dated 14th August, 2018 passed by the learned Addl. District Judge-cum-4th MACT, Angul in MAC No.147/2014, the challenge made therein is confined to the quantum aspect only.

2. Considering the rival contentions of the parties and taking into account the grounds taken in the appeal, this Court finds, there is slight irregularities in the matter of compensation so far it relates to income of the deceased, but however, considering that the accident has occurred in the year 2014, this Court instead of remanding the matter, reduces the awarded amount from Rs.7,51,736/- (Rupees Seven lakhs fifty-one thousand seven hundred thirty-six) only to Rs.6,50,000/- (Rupees six-lakhs fifty thousand) only. The Insurance Company is directed to deposit the modified
