Order 24.03.2026 [1] Present Mr. S. Biswajit, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. W. Sanatomba, learned counsel for the petitioners in WP(C) No. 854 of 2024 and Ms. H. Malemleima, learned counsel for the petitioner in WP(C) No. 110 of 2026. Also present Mr. A. Bheigya, learned Jr. G.A. on behalf of the State respondent, Ms. Kh. Maria, learned counsel for respondent in WP(C) No. 110 of 2026 and Mr. S. Johnson, learned counsel for respondent No. 7 in WP(C) No. 110 of 2026. [2] This batch of writ petitions concerns with the seniority list of the officials of Manipur Civil Service Grade-II. [3] Mr. N. Ibotombi, learned senior counsel, submits that this Court passed an interim order dated 11.03.2026 in this batch of writ petitions, especially WP(C) No. 110 of 2026 whereby this Court directed not to declare the proceedings of the DPC held on the basis of final seniority list dated 04.02.2026. It is submitted that the applicants in MC(WP(C) Nos. 236 of 2026 and 239 of 2026 are not parties in WP(C) Nos. 110 of 2026 and 854 of 2024. Learned senior counsel for the applicants submits that even if the applicants in MC(WP(C) Nos. 236 of 2026 and 239 of 2026 are not parties in the corresponding writ petitions, the applicants are aggrieved by the direction passed by this Court in the order dated 11.03.2026 not to declare the results of the DPC. In the circumstances, it is prayed that they may be permitted to be impleaded as respondent Nos. 24, 25, & 26 in WP(C) No. 110 of 2026 and respondent Nos. 8, 9 & 10 in WP(C) No. 854 of 2024. [4] Mr. S. Biswajit, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners in WP(C) No. 854 of 2024 and Ms. H. Malemleima, learned counsel for the petitioners in WP(C) No. 110 of 2026 and other counsels on behalf of the respondents do not oppose the application for impleadment.
[5] Mr. A. Bheigya, learned Jr. G.A., submits that this Court may pass appropriate order.
[6] Considering the submissions made at the bar, applicants in MC(WP(C) No. 236 of 2026 are impleaded as respondent Nos. 24, 25 & 26 in WP(C) No. 110 of 2026 and applicants in MC(WP(C) No. 239 of 2026 are impleaded as respondent Nos. 8, 9 & 10 in WP(C) No. 854 of 2024.
[7] MC(WP(C) Nos. 236 of 2026 & 239 of 2026 are allowed and disposed of. Registry is directed to make necessary incorporation in the cause title of the main writ petitions.
[8] List the remaining matters on 26.03.2026, the date already fixed.
[9] Parties may file objection, if any, in MC(WP(C) Nos. 237 of 2026 & 238 of 2026.
