Mr. H. Dijen, learned counsel appeared for the appellant in FAO No. 4 of 2025 and Mr. Thangchungnung, learned counsel appeared for the appellant in RFA No. 13 of 2005.

The counsel appearing for the parties submitted that the 2 (two) appeals are cross-appeals against the same judgment and decree. It has also been submitted that during the pendency of this 2 (two) appeals, the parties have settled the dispute among themselves and the learned counsel seeks 3 weeks' time for filing a settlement agreement.

On perusal of the earlier proceeding, this Court noted that on his ground, time has been taken by the counsel appearing for the appellant on 2 (two) earlier occasion.

The learned counsel appearing for the appellant in RFA No. 13 of 2005 submitted that the settlement agreement will be filed within 3 weeks without fail.

In view of the submission made above, let these cases be listed again on 22.04.2026.
