19-02-2026 Syed Murtaza Ahmed, learned counsel appeared for the petitioners in both the writ petitions; Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA and Mr. Gyananda, learned counsel representing Mr. S. Suresh, learned counsel appeared for the respondents.

It has been submitted at the bar that there is possibility of an amicable settlement of the dispute between the parties through mediation proceeding.

In view of the submission made above, registry is directed to refer this matter for mediation at the Mediation Centre, High Court of Manipur, for exploring the possibility of bringing an amicable settlement of the dispute between the parties.

The petitioner and the official respondents or any officer duly authorized by them along with their respective counsel are directed to appear before the appointed Mediator on 10-03-2026 at 01:30 P.M. A copy of this order be furnished to all the counsel appearing for the parties through their WhatsApp/e-mail for doing the needful.
