Heard Mr. N. Ibotombi, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Th. Ningtamba, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Issue notice, returnable within three weeks.

Mr. O. Ratankumar, learned Deputy GA assisting Mr. H. Debendra, learned senior counsel and Deputy AG entered appearance and accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 1 and Mr. L. Rajesh, learned counsel assisting Mr. R.K. Deepak, learned senior counsel entered appearance and accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 2 and 3, hence no formal notice is called for.

I have heard at length the submission made by the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner with regard to the prayer for passing interim order.

Both the learned Deputy AG as well as Mr. R.K. Deepak, learned senior counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that

they may be given some time to get instruction from the authorities and to consider the prayer for passing interim order on Monday, i.e., on 09-02-2026.

As prayed for by the learned senior counsels appearing for the respondents, list these cases again on 09-02-2026 for consideration of the prayer for passing interim order.

As an interim measure and till the next date, the respondents are directed not to proceed further with the enquiry against the petitioner pursuant to the Notice dated 23-01-2026 issued by the Commissioner (Hr. & Tech. Education), Government of Manipur
