Mr. Kh. Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms.

Julekha Khan, learned counsel appeared for the petitioner and

submitted that one of the issue raised in the present case is

squarely covered by the judgment dated 29.04.2025 passed in the

case of "S.D. Jayaprakash & Ors. Etc. vs. The Union of India &

Others" and that the present writ petition can be disposed of in

terms of the said judgment passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court.

Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents

submitted that she is yet to receive any instructions for filing

counter affidavit and as such, the learned GA prays for granting 3

weeks' time for filing counter affidavit.
