Heard Mr. N. Jotendro, learned senior counsel for the petitioners.

Issue notice.

Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on

behalf of respondent Nos. 1 & 2 and Mr. L. Raju, learned counsel, accepts

notice on behalf of respondent No. 3. Hence, service is complete on the

respondents.

Learned counsel for the respondents pray for some time for filing

counter affidavits.

Mr. N. Jotendro, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, submits that

in the connected petition, WP(C) No. 107 of 2025, filed by the petitioner in

the same subject matter, vide order dated 07-02-2025, status quo order as

on that day was maintained on the submission made by him.

Mr. L. Raju, learned counsel for the IMC, has pointed out that the

impugned order in WP(C) No. 107 of 2025 and the impugned order in the

present case, WP(C) No. 135 of 2025 are different.

Mr. L. Raju, learned counsel for the IMC, submits that the impugned

resolution dated 17-01-2025 and the impugned order dated 23-01-2025

have been passed by the IMC in pursuance of the direction passed by this

Court in judgment and order dated 19-11-2019 in the batch of writ petitions,

WP(C) No. 757 of 2018 & Ors.

In the circumstance, the prayer for interim relief will be considered on

the returnable date.

In the meantime, status quo as directed in the order dated 07-02-2025

in WP(C) No. 107 of 2025 be maintained till the next date.

List these cases on 24-02-2025 along with WP(C) No. 107 of 2025.
