PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of
India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th
respondent not to register any document in respect of the properties
comprised in survey numbers 135/4 and 136/2, measuring to an extent of
96 cents and 53 cents respectively situated at Kallanai Village, Vadipatti
Taluk, Alanganallur Sub Division, Madurai North Registration Division,
Madurai District till the disposal of the civil suit in OS No.797 of 2025
pending on the file of II Additional Sub Court, Madurai and OS No.
699/2020 on the file of III Additional Sub Court, Madurai based on the
petitioners representations dated 08.01.2026 and 11.01.2026.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 4th
respondent not to register any document in respect of the properties
comprised in survey numbers 135/4 and 136/2, measuring to an extent of
96 cents and 53 cents respectively situated at Kallanai Village, Vadipatti
Taluk, Alanganallur Sub Division, Madurai North Registration Division,
Madurai District till the disposal of the civil suit in OS No.797 of 2025
pending on the file of II Additional Sub Court, Madurai and OS No.
699/2020 on the file of III Additional Sub Court, Madurai based on the
petitioners representations dated 08.01.2026 and 11.01.2026.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special
Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. By consent
of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the
stage of admission itself.
3. The petitioner submitted representation to the 4th respondent not
to register any document with regard to the properties in question.

However, since no action has been taken on the said representation, the
petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, would
submit that within a considerable period, the representation would be
considered.
5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any
opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a
direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation,
upon issuing notice and after hearing the parties concerned, and pass
appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period
of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There
shall be no order as to costs.
