                     PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India
                     praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to
                     consider the petitioners representation dated 17.12.2024 and 08.07.2025
                     and consequently direct the respondent to disburse the petitioner's
                     husband EPF amount and other death benefits.

                                                              ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of

mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's

representation dated 17.12.2024 and 08.07.2025 and consequently direct

the respondent to disburse the petitioner's husband EPF amount and other

death benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the

materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is the widow of late R. Mohan Babu, who worked

as a Gunman in the fifth respondent company. During his employment

with the fifth respondent, EPF contributions were remitted and deposited

with the second respondent. The petitioner’s husband died on

07.11.2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that, after the demise of her

husband, she submitted representations dated 17.12.2024 and 08.07.2025

seeking disbursement of the PF amount payable to her deceased husband.

However, since no action has been taken so far, the present writ petition

has been filed.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3

submitted that respondents 4 and 5 are the employers of the petitioner’s

husband and that an endorsement is required to be made in Form 10 and

Form 20 and submitted to the second respondent to enable disbursement

of the PF amount in favour of the petitioner.

5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the

respondents 4 and 5 to depute their authorised signatory to appear before

the second respondent and sign Form 10 and Form 20 within a period of

two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions.

No costs.
