                                                       JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.]

The prayer of the appellant was for a Writ of Mandamus directing the

second respondent to conduct enquiry on his complaint made against the

respondents 4 and 5. In reply, the learned Government Advocate stated before

the Writ Court that in fact enquiry was conducted by the second respondent and

the complaint was closed without any basis. The Writ Court therefore closed the

writ petition on the ground that the purpose of the writ petition has also been

served.

2.The learned counsel for the appellant would submit that the orders

passed after the enquiry were not even served on him. It is open to the appellant

to seek for the orders and take appropriate action, if he is aggrieved by them.

Since the purpose of the writ petition is served, we do not find any need to

entertain the writ appeal and therefore, the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs.
