(Judgment of the Court was delivered by J. Nisha Banu, J and R. Kalaimathi, J)

The present Civil Miscellaneous Appeal has been filed against the

F.C.O.P.No.109 of 2018 on the file of the Family Court at Chengalpattu.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 15.10.2024, there was

no representation on behalf of the appellant and therefore, the matter was

directed to be listed on 21.10.2024. Again, on 21.10.2024, when the

matter was called, none appeared for the appellant and hence, the

Registry was directed to list the matter on 22.10.2024 under the caption

"for dismissal". Accordingly, the matter is listed today under the same

caption.

2. Even today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no

representation for the appellant. Hence, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal

is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

                                                                        (J.N.B, J.) (R.K.M., J.)
                                                                                22.10.2024
