We have heard Mr.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government

Advocate for the appellants; Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned counsel for

the first respondent and Mr.V.Anantha Natarajan, learned counsel for

the second respondent.

2. It is submitted that, on 24.02.2022, the Government Order

bearing G.O.(Ms) No.25, Highways and Minor Ports (HN.2)

Department has been issued with regard to guidelines/norms to issue

No Objection Certificate for setting up of road side Petroleum Retail

Outlets.

3. The authorities may take steps with regard to the proposal of

the first respondent/original writ petitioner for issuance of No

Objection Certificate in view of the said G.O. dated 24.02.2022.

With these observations, the writ appeal is disposed of. No

costs. Consequently, C.M.P. No. 12886 of 2021 is closed.
