This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records pertaining

to D.V.C.No.174 of 2016 on the file of Additional Mahila ourt, Metropolitan

Magistrate of Egmore at Allikulam Complex, Chennai. and quash the same

Mr.Justice N.Anand Venkatesh, in a batch of Crl.O.Ps, issued a series of

directions with regard to cases filed under Domestic Violence Act and finally

held that the petition for quashing under Section 482 Cr.P.C is not

maintainable.

3. This Court, in view of the Judgment in Crl.O.P.Nos.28458, 16411

of 2019 etc., batch dated 18.01.2021 reported in (2021) 2 CTC 57

(P.Pathmanathan and others vs V. Monica and others) finds that the

petition to quash filed in this Criminal Original Petition is not maintainable

and dismissed the Crl.O.P.No.23753 of 2016. Consequently, connected

miscellaneous petition is closed.
