Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,
praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents
to extend the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.216, Finance (PC) Department, dated
22.03.1993 and G.O.Ms.No.270, Finance (PC) Department, dated
26.08.2010 in the light of the orders of the Hon'ble Division Bench in WP
No.8747 of 2009 dated 14.07.2009 confirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme
Court of India in CC No.2746 of 2010 dated 23.04.2010 and accordingly
award selection/special grade scale of pay arrears immediately to the
petitioner.

ORDER
The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the
respondents, made a submission that the benefits as per G.O.Ms.No.216,
Finance Department, dated 22.03.1993 in consonance with the judgment of
the Full Bench of this Court, have already been settled in favour of the writ

petitioner. If at all the said benefits are not settled, then the respondents are
bound to consider the case of the writ petitioner with reference to the
judgment of this Court and accordingly complete the abovesaid exercise as
expeditiously as possible.
2. With the abovesaid observations, the writ petition stands
disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
