For Petitioner : Mr.V.M.Venkatramana
For Respondents : Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal
Government Advocate
ORDER
The petitioner has challenged the impugned disqualification
order/slip dated 03.08.2021 stating that the petitioner's height is only158
cms.
2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner height is 159.2 cms
and the petitioner therefore qualifies for being selected as the prescribed
height for women candidate is 159 cms.
3. Already this Court has granted relief to some of the successful
candidates by allowing them to participate in second round of physical
test along with those who should not appeared due to Covid-19. Since
the petitioner seems to have a plausible case for being appointed to the
post of Grade-II Police Constable, as a last chance, the petitioner is given
one more opportunity to appear along with those candidates.

W.P.No.18995 of 2021

participate in the physical test to be conducted on 22.09.2021. The
petitioner is directed to appear for physical test of height only. It is made
clear that the said opportunity will be the last opportunity for the
petitioner. The respondents are also directed to keep in mind the
Judgment of the Full Bench of this Court passed in W.A.Nos.8 to 12, 14
to 16, 23 & 24 of 2020 dated 29.01.2020.
